Archbishop's Visit to St. Oswalds

On March 1st, St. Oswald's Church was pleased to host a visit from the Most Reverend John Stephens, Archbishop of the Diocese of New Westminster.  He took part in the Eucharistic Service at 10:30, assisted by our minister Reverend Tim Morgan.  

Archbishop John gave a very thoughtful address to the congregation.  Then he joined us for lunch and spent time speaking with individual parishioners, parish groups and the church council.  

The archbishop indicated that he would be off to Powell River the next day for a similar visit.  This was his third visit to St. Oswald's and we look forward to other visits in the future.
