It’s time for Refresher Training in why we do what we do.
There are many things that we have long forgotten and there are some things that have just simply been overlooked and so this training might just interest you.
You are invited to attend two training sessions with the parishes of Holy Spirit and St. Oswald’s Anglican churches, to keep us on the ‘spiritual cutting edge’ of knowledge in the Anglican Communion.
So, we turn to Liturgist and knowledge bearer in our diocese – The Venerable Dr. Richard Leggett, for guidance.
Archdeacon Leggett was Professor of Liturgical Studies at Vancouver School of Theology from 1987 to 2010, before returning to parish ministry in 2010. He is currently Vicar of Holy Trinity Cathedral in New Westminster and Archdeacon of Westminster.
Archdeacon Leggett will be making two 2-hours presentations on Zoom: one on Monday, September 19th and the other on Monday, September 26th beginning at 7:00 pm, pacific. He states that “In our first session we will look at historical, theological and pastoral dimensions of Christian Worship in the Anglican tradition, that will guide us in the planning and leading of Worship Services.
